I was lucky to have a childhood growing up in Cornwall. Surfing, swimming and sailing, unaware that not everyone grew up near the beach. I was one of the lucky few to enjoy the first skateboard park in the country at Watergate Bay. Truro School gave me a great formal education and the chance to indulge in every sport and hobby I wanted which is where my passion for music developed. As part of a very average band formed with mates at school we felt the world of music missed out on a force of nature which was going to dominate popular culture for years to come.
My Story
I went to London to study law. I loved the course and of course uni life but was never solely focussed on practicing and was seduced into the world of property development, land and new homes. This sparked a real interest and appreciation of modern architecture. I worked in the industry for 30 years before setting up my estate agency in 2020.
When I set up my business after lockdown, it was with one clear business aim: to make the buying and selling of your home more transparent and less stressful.

With more than three decades in the property sales business and buying and selling a number of my own properties, I had always felt there was something missing. Most agents are targeted and rewarded for winning instructions and how quickly they bring the property to the market. I do not believe this is often in the client's interest.

I have lived in the area for nearly 15 years and now live in Farnham. Sport is enjoyed more as a spectator now, especially football, cricket and F1. The physical side has replaced by great walks and personal fitness. The aspiration for musical fame and fortune is now quenched by listening to an eclectically wide range of music, going to gigs of all sizes, a vinyl collection and even the odd appearance at an open mic night. Who knows, one day those songs I wrote in the early 80s may be recorded.
