Sunday Property Breakfast

When Adrian first set the business up, post COVID, he woke up one Sunday morning with the thought that it was a great time to chat about the property market and what was going on locally too. It was at a time where chat and information were missing from the school gates, coffee shops and pubs, so information about the local property market and the community was really important.

Adrian is still not sure where the actual inspiration came from overnight, other than that it seemed a good idea and the next week, it went live on Facebook. Paul McCartney wakes up with the tune of "Yesterday" in his head, Adrian wakes up with the Sunday Property breakfast. You can't win them all.

Sat at the kitchen table, he would run through the main property news, local community news and what was going on with the local property market. Not much has changed since. On Facebook at 10am on Sunday morning the key market news issues are discussed with between 2,000 to 5,000 people listening in.

With Candice joining, we started to host the Sunday Property Breakfast podcasts where we discussed everything from staging you property, downsizing, getting legally prepared and the state of the lettings market. These are regularly recorded at the Login Lounge in Camberley with SMJ Media and a new series is being recorded now to coincide with the new business launch. You can find them on Youtube, Spotify, Google podcasts and anywhere you usually listen in.

Adrian still dreams of waking with the inspiration for a Number 1 hit single but one amusing footnote to this, is that Paul McCartney woke up with the whole structure of the song and tune in his head but no words. When he sang it to make sure he didn't lose the tune he made up some nonsense words and "Yesterday" was originally "Scrambled Eggs".

Maybe Adrian should have some every time he finishes recording the property breakfast.
